Fact of life #1 for college kids: Zero money.
Sometimes that doesn't really stop us from spending like we do have money, especially now that we're seeing all these holiday themed ads everywhere. For a lot of us (i.e. me) it doesn't feel like Christmas without a tree, but financially & functionally (pine tree = major fire hazard in apartment buildings) they're an impossibility.
